Carlisle CC pleased with new rules.

All Carlisle First XI games next season will start at 1pm in the North Lancs and Cumbria Cricket League Premier Division, it’s been agreed.

A meeting of all NLCCL clubs decided on the change, along with the introduction of the Duckworth Lewis method to determine the outcome of rain-affected matches.

Clubs also agreed to a new rule on leg side wides, designed to bring greater consistency and clarity for umpires and captains.

The changes have been welcomed by first team skipper, Marc Brown.
