Message for all members from Mark Davidson.

Before we get to the thanks to everyone else, a big thank you too to Mark himself for being an indispensable club man.  Marrrkkkkyyyy Ddddd.

Afternoon all

Now that the dust has settled and the sun set on the playing season we have still much to achieve moving forward as we look towards 2017.

Firstly a BIG thank you to Reedy,Tricky, Dave Mac, Eggy and CV (apologies if I’ve missed anyone) for the countless hours given in preparing Edenside for such a heavy programme of cricket. Few will realise just what hard work this is and I think you’ll agree they have all done an outstanding job in sometimes very difficult circumstances throughout 2016.

As Mike pointed out the other day we must also remember the contribution and commitment that our Patron and President Bob Bowman has given to us over many years. His generosity and knowledge is inestimable.

Next Saturday (24th) is a busy one and we need your help please. Work will be done on the square plus end of season tidying up in preparation for the winter – 9.30am start hopefully finished mid-afternoon. Thank you in anticipation – we have a brilliant membership who do so much.

Saturday evening, as I’m sure you’re aware, we are holding the SENIOR Presentation night in the pavilion. If you haven’t already let your captain know that you’re attending please do ASAP. Non players please let either Mike or myself know. Hot food, entertainment and of course the club presentations. 7pm for 7.30pm.

A reminder too that we have the U9/11 JUNIOR Presentation evening on Thursday with the U13/15 age groups on Friday – both start at 7pm.

Finally as we look at all that has been achieved this year thanks must go to the captains and ultimately the players for some outstanding performances in all of our teams.
