All-rounder heading home early to take up contract with Barbados!
Sadly, West Indian pro, Justin Greaves has played his last game for Carlisle this season after being called up to the Barbados squad.
Justin, who made a wonderful half-century in the County Cup final against Furness last week, has made an enormous impact at Edenside this season.
With 567 runs at an average of 35.44 and 32 wickets at 18, Justin has played a pivotal role in helping Carlisle rise to third place in the North Lancs and Cumbria Cricket League Premier Division.
Everyone at the club wishes Justin well, a safe journey home and thanks him heartily for all his efforts. We hope to see his name feature in reports from first class West Indian cricket over the next few months.
Justin will be a big miss, but his absence for the final month of the season gives some of our younger players the chance to try to fill his considerable boots.
Good luck Justin, and hope to see you back with us next year!
